Special Poem For Special Friend

1. This poem is dedicated to all those that have found a special friendship. I wrote this poem after meeting someone and in just a short time we become so close. It felt like we knew each other for a life time. It was just what I needed as I felt like I really did not have a close friend to share my every thought and emotion.

Someone Special

Our acquaintance has been only a short time,

But our time spent is so gentle on my mind.

How is it that we become so full of certain people?

Like a ray of warm sunshine

that goes on and on

never to end....

Never wanting it to end!!

Feelings so full of warmth.

Smiles so easily crossing lips.

What a WONDERFUL ACQUAINTANCE!!!

2. People come into our life disguised as angels, and sometimes angels come into our life disguised as people. It is possible to see God anywhere. All it takes are open eyes and ears and the willingness to see miracles. They are everywhere. God is as available as we are. Having friends that inspire us to rise to higher and greater levels is an awesome gift. Surround yourself with people that inspire you to do better and inspire your friends as well. It is a profound truth that the people we hang out will shape the path that we travel.
